ABOUT
Miriam Morales has had a lifelong love of music and has been a performing musician and teaching artist for over 10 years. She is a versatile musician in jazz, pop, classical and worship music. Miriam has served as the pianist for several churches in the Dallas area and performs for weddings, corporate events and private parties.
Miriam began playing the piano at an early age under the direction of Rebekah Branham and studied privately with Pierette Mouledous. She attended W. E. Greiner Middle School Exploratory Arts where she studied music and dance as well as received the Stevie Ray Vaughan scholarship.
She is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas where she studied classical and jazz piano. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Media with an emphasis in Piano from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Masters Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in Biblical Studies & Worship.
Miriam has taught for multiple music studios and non-profit organizations in the DFW area including the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas, Big Thought, Junior Players and Arts Net.
Currently Miriam is the Executive Director for New Song Music Academy, one of the top rated music lessons academy in Dallas. She loves working with students of all levels and encouraging them to develop a deep love for music that will benefit them for a lifetime.
